Call for nominations for Chair and other roles for Research Steering Committee
Chartered ABS are looking for new members to join the Research Steering Committee, especially from the post-92 business schools. We are also looking for nominees for the posts of Chair and Vice Chair of the Research Steering Committee.
If you are interested in joining in the role of Chair or Vice-Chair or to nominate an individual to join the committee, could you please send email@example.com a C.V and a supporting statement, of a maximum length of 500 words, by Thursday 10 March. Please note: the call for nominations has now ended.
The role of the Research Steering Committee is to provide guidance and assist the Chartered ABS with policy formation in the broad area of research as it affects business and management education. Research includes matters relating to the funding, support and training of postgraduate research students. It is also responsible for initiating discussions and influence with policy-makers, funding councils, major research and enterprise funders, student loan companies and other significant bodies.
The Research Steering Committee provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and promotes good practice to support Chartered ABS members to achieve their research goals. It contributes to capacity building and succession planning through DPDoR (Development Programme for Directors of Research) and the annual research conference, amongst other activities.
Thank you in anticipation.
