Call for nominations: Chartered ABS Learning, Teaching, and Student Experience Committee 2022
The Chartered Association of Business Schools is calling for new members for our Learning Teaching and Student Experience (LTSE) Committee. The role of the LTSE Committee is to represent and engage with Chartered ABS members to support policy development and capacity building in the broad areas of learning, teaching and student experience in the context of business and management education.
The committee has a focus on both current and emerging issues. Specific areas of interest include curriculum development; best practice in student learning experience; quality assurance, enhancement and accreditation; the development of the TEF; faculty development; and representing the interests of Chartered ABS members with Government and professional bodies in the area of learning and teaching.
The committee also provides oversight of the annual LTSE conference, including reviewing submissions, chairing sessions and advising on themes.
We would like to invite applications from both those at senior level within their school and from those whose journey to seniority is less advanced:
- Membership of this Committee will be particularly relevant for individuals with a senior position leading learning, teaching and student experience strategy within a business school. Associate Dean for Learning and Teaching, for example.
- In addition, we are looking to co-opt new members as a developmental opportunity, especially those from under-represented groups. We particularly encourage nominations from academics who are on the learning and teaching career path but might not quite meet the minimum level we would normally expect for appointment to the committee.
The Chartered ABS is committed to building diversity and inclusion, and applications from BAME individuals are particularly encouraged. Diversity of HEI mission groups represented on the Chartered ABS committees will also be taken into account when considering applications.
The Terms of Reference for the committee can be found here.
If you are interested in joining our LTSE Committee, please email the following documents to Ramin Bokaian (email@example.com) by 5pm on Friday 18 March 2022.

Both letters should be addressed to Ramin Bokaian. When submitting your application please confirm that you are happy for your details and documents to be shared with the Chair and Vice-Chair of the committee.
