Call for nominations: Chartered ABS Learning, Teaching, and Student Experience Committee

The Chartered Association of Business Schools is calling for new members for our Learning Teaching and Student Experience (LTSE) Committee.

The role of the LTSE Committee is to represent and engage with Chartered ABS members in order to: provide guidance to the Council of the Chartered ABS on national policy and advocacy related to learning and teaching; to support the development of Chartered ABS capacity building activities for business and management educators; and to encourage knowledge sharing and analysis which supports the advancement of learning, teaching and student experience in business schools.

The committee's remit is comprehensive in terms of issues, current and emerging. Specific areas of interest include curriculum development; quality assurance and enhancement; the development of the TEF; the student experience (national and international); student employability; the NSS; and the accreditation of undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes as they affect business and management education.

The committee also provides oversight of the annual LTSE conference, and members are engaged in peer review of conference submissions. The facilitators for the Leaders in Learning and Teaching Development Programme are also members of the LTSE Committee.

Membership of this Committee will be particularly relevant for individuals with a senior position leading strategic Learning, Teaching and Student Experience development, such as Associate Dean responsible for Learning and Teaching. The Chartered ABS is committed to building diversity and inclusion and applications from BAME individuals are particularly encouraged. Diversity of HEI mission groups represented on the Chartered ABS committees will also be taken into account when considering applications.

The Terms of Reference for the committee can be found here.
