Call for nominations: Chartered ABS Learning, Teaching, and Student Experience Committee
The Chartered Association of Business Schools is calling for new members for our Learning, Teaching, and Student Experience (LTSE) Committee. The role of the LTSE Committee is to represent and engage with Chartered ABS members to support policy development and capacity building in the broad areas of learning, teaching and student experience in the context of business and management education.
The committee has a focus on both current and emerging issues. Specific areas of interest include curriculum development; best practice in student learning experience; quality assurance, enhancement and accreditation; the development of the TEF; faculty development; and representing the interests of Chartered ABS members with Government and professional bodies in the area of learning and teaching.
The committee also provides oversight of the annual LTSE conference, including reviewing submissions, chairing sessions and advising on themes.
Membership of this Committee will be particularly relevant for individuals with a senior position leading learning, teaching and student experience strategy within a business school. Associate Dean for Learning and Teaching, for example. The Chartered ABS is committed to building diversity and inclusion, and applications from BAME individuals are particularly encouraged. Diversity of HEI mission groups represented on the Chartered ABS committees will also be taken into account when considering applications.
The Terms of Reference for the committee can be found here.
If you are interested in joining our LTSE Committee, please email the following documents to Ramin Bokaian (ramin.bokaian@charteredabs.org) by 5pm on Friday 11 August 2023. Your application must have the support of your Dean/Head of School prior to submitting your application:
