Join a Chartered ABS Committee - call for nominations
The Chartered Association of Business Schools is calling for new members to join our Executive Education Committee and our Diversity Committee.
Executive Education Committee
The Executive Education Committee discusses business school management issues, challenges and opportunities relating to executive education and advises the Council on policy in these matters. The Committee also: champions the work of executive education within the UK business school community and to external audiences including business, government and the wider university community; promotes excellence within executive education; explores and demonstrates the economic impact of executive education; demonstrates how executive education creates value in business schools internally; and develops leaders in executive education.
Together, the committee advises and assists the Chartered ABS, acting as a think-tank contributing to the development of policy and research on Executive Education within UK business schools.
Membership of this committee will be particularly relevant for:
- Deans, Directors and Associate Deans of Executive Education;
- Programme Directors;
- Senior Managers of Executive Education;
- Directors of Marketing and Business Development.
Diversity Committee
The Diversity Committee comprises experts in diversity and/or those in leadership roles in business schools. The Diversity Committee reports to the Chartered ABS Council and defines and delivers on key projects, as outlined in the objectives set in its terms of reference. The Chartered ABS recognises that commitment to diversity supports social justice, responsible management and successful business. Together, the committee works to advise and assist the Chartered ABS, acting as a think-tank contributing to the development of policy and research on the promotion of diversity within UK business schools.
Membership of this committee will be particularly relevant for:
- Deans, Directors, and Associate Deans;
- Leaders and champions of diversity and inclusion from business schools around the UK, who may occupy a range of roles;
