Claude Littner Business School recognised as THE Awards Business School of the Year 2019

Chartered ABS member school Claude Littner Business School, at the University of West London, was recognised as the Times Higher Education Business School of the Year 2019 at the awards ceremony last week.

The judges for the award praised Claude Littner's wide-ranging initiatives to reduce it's BAME student attainment gap, which had dropped to a historic low of 0.8%.

In particular, the judges praised the school's “Fulfilment through Challenge” programme, which aims to provide employability skills and training for BAME students who may otherwise find themselves at a disadvantage on competitive career pathways. Described as "truly admirable" and as having "demonstrable impact", judges noted that the programme had "clearly been effective in driving business engagement, student retention and, as a consequence, social mobility."

Our congratulations to the team at Claude Littner for their hard work and dedication and for clearly illustrating the high quality of the UK's business schools.
