Imparting Knowledge

This category includes sharing expertise with others, such as through teaching, mentoring, public speaking, or workshop facilitation.

Delivering internal workshops
Some CMBEs run workshops for colleagues on topics such as problem-based learning or innovative assessment techniques. Keeping a record of participant feedback or workshop slides provides evidence.

Conference presentations for educator audiences
Presenting at learning and teaching conferences can be logged under this category. A conference schedule or speaker confirmation supports your claim.

Structured mentoring and coaching
If you regularly mentor colleagues, graduate teaching assistants, or early-career academics in teaching practice, you can claim this activity. Anonymised meeting notes or a reflection on the mentoring process serve as verification.

Maximum hours claimable per year: up to 10 hours
