Chartered ABS to collaborate with ITN Productions to present 'The Impact Factor'
LAUNCHING NOVEMBER 2018
In a unique communications partnership, the Chartered Association of Business Schools and ITN Productions are producing a news and current affairs-style programme exploring the breadth of study and opportunities available within business schools across the country.
‘The Impact Factor’ will bring to life the value of business schools to individuals, organisations and the wider economy, as well as explore why the UK’s business schools are a critical part of the UK higher education sector. The programme will highlight how business schools are engaged and relevant, and will give those within higher education institutions and, and those who benefit from working with them, the opportunity to tell their stories.
Seeking to challenge the perception of ‘it’s just MBAs’, ‘The Impact Factor’ will celebrate the achievements of the Chartered ABS’ members, provide a platform on which to exchange ideas and seek to answer questions about how business schools can continue to provide solutions for organisations, the economy and society.
Drawing upon ITN’s 60 year heritage and expertise in storytelling, the news-style piece will be anchored by Natasha Kaplinsky to combine key interviews and reports with sponsored editorial profiles from leading organisations.
‘The Impact Factor’ will premiere at the Chartered Association of Business School’s Annual Conference in London on 5-6 November 2018. The programme will form part of an extensive communications campaign featuring Chartered ABS members, industry partners, government partners, as well as relevant journalists, writers and bloggers.
Anne Kiem, Chief Executive, Chartered Association of Business Schools said: “It often comes as a surprise to me the depth of misconceptions and lack of knowledge about our world class and diverse business schools. We are excited to be working with ITN Productions to raise awareness of the work of our business schools to a wider audience.”
Simon Shelley, Head of Industry News, ITN Productions, said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with the Chartered Association of Business Schools to produce a programme exploring the role business schools play in today’s education sector and the opportunities available. We hope the content can be used to exchange ideas, celebrate success stories and engage members and the wider audience”.
