Internationally recognised research with strong academic and industry impact
Extensive collaborations with the local and internationally oriented industry ecosystem
A collegial culture, with faculty and staff who are committed to supporting our students and stakeholders
Learn innovatively
We bring an energy and an entrepreneurial zeal to all our activities. This dynamism derives from being part of Ireland's University of Enterprise and Transformation, located in one of Europe's most thriving business locations. Dublin city is the European hub for the world's top companies in technology, financial services, pharma and life sciences. We focus on strategically important business sectors in Ireland, and take pride in the impact our engagement has on Irish industry and, increasingly, on international organisations.
Our graduates leave us equipped to analyse with precision and think strategically; empowered to solve business problems creatively and to act with conviction and confidence in their organisations. As our programmes have become increasingly global in scope and our student body more international, our alumni are networked across the globe, making a significant contribution to companies and economies in over 60 countries across five continents.
We have an alumni community of over 20,000 DCU Business School graduates making an impact in businesses throughout the world. Our alumni include Albert Manifold, CEO of one of Ireland's leading companies, CRH; Lorraine Twohill, Chief Marketing Officer at Google; Bronwyn Brophy, President EMEA at Thermo Fisher Scientific; Seamus Hand, Managing Partner of KPMG.

Our approach ensures that graduates understand and appreciate all forms of business from start-ups to SMEs, family businesses, social enterprise and large global brands. We run several highly successful SME-focused executive education programmes.
With INTRA (paid work placement) at undergraduate level, Practicum projects with real clients at postgraduate level and consultancy projects among our MBA classes, real-life applied learning means our students meaningfully apply their learning to practice and sets our programmes apart.
Our degrees are accredited by respected professional bodies and hold all appropriate professional accreditations such as ACCA, CIMA and CIPD.
We provide a unique learning environment where students are encouraged to develop their creativity and skills as innovators, skills that are attractive to employers. Small class sizes, group work, self assessment exercises and a wide range of practical assessments for real-world clients - while constantly connecting your academic learnings to real life business - sets a DCU business education apart.
We support the United Nations' Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) and embed opportunities within our programmes for our students to engage with the ethical issues of their discipline and demonstrate how to behave responsibly.
