CMBE Community Meeting

21 October 2020, 12:00 - 13:00, Online via Zoom

This virtual meeting will explore the pastoral support and extra-curricular engagement institutions are providing to students. With many activities restricted, it is likely that some students will be feeling lonely and perhaps physically and emotionally isolated. Ahead of the new term the focus has been on the logistics and mechanics of delivering remote/hybrid/blended learning experiences, but this meeting will allow colleagues to share experiences of how we are creating a community for students and staff.

These interactive meetings are exclusively for Certified Management & Business Educators and are free to attend. This is an opportunity to share and explore what is working well in these challenging circumstances with other teaching practitioners. Participation is encouraged and discussions will take place under Chatham House Rule.

Panel includes:

  • Nick Dearden CMBE, Faculty Head of Education, Faculty of Business and Law, Manchester Metropolitan University
  • Dr Hetty Sun CMBE, Principal Lecturer and Programme Leader, University of Greenwich Business School
  • Dr Adam Shore CMBE, Director, Liverpool Business School
