DBA Symposium

The Chartered Association of Business Schools is pleased to present the DBA Symposium, to be held at:

Liverpool Business School, Liverpool John Moores University

The DBA Symposium will be held on 21 May 2015 for directors and managers who are currently running or interested in launching a DBA programme at their business school.

It has been designed to foster the links between DBA directors and managers across the countryand provide attendees with the opportunity to:  

  • Engage in debates on successful doctoral programme provision
  • Network with fellow DBA directors, managers and students
  • Discuss the visibility of DBA programmes in the UK
  • Deliberate on funding opportunities and challenges 
  • Provide strategies for promoting research impact

Speakers for the Symposium will include Dr Yusra Mouzughi, Programme Leader for Doctoral Programmes at Liverpool Business School; Prof Richard Thorpe, Pro-Dean for Research at Leeds University Business School; and Dr Julie Davies, Deputy Chief Executive of the Chartered  Association of Business Schools.

The DBA Symposium Dinner will be held the night before at 7:30pm following the DBA Students’ Symposium
