Equality, Diversity, and Inclusivity (Session 2)

Monday 1 July, University of Bedfordshire, Luton

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) are relevant to all aspects of Business School curricula. As part of a research project funded under the Chartered ABS Scholarships programme, the Universities of Bedfordshire and Greenwich are running two free workshops using Lego Serious Play (LSP) as a tool to help academics and professional service staff reconsider their approaches to embedding EDI in their curriculum design.

LSP methodology is a well-recognised constructivist approach and is a useful tool that facilitates clarity, understanding and the tackling of unstructured and complex issues, including EDI in curriculum design. Through this workshop, participants will gain insight into curriculum design in relation to university initiatives on inclusive curriculum framework, EDI strategy and other issues.

The workshop will include an opportunity to experiment, using Lego Serious Play (R), with new ideas about the specific challenges in your topic area and how they might be overcome. Feel free to forward this information to business school academics and professional service staff who may be interested.

Spaces are limited and are allocated on a first-come first-served basis. Two sessions are available; for the first session, click here.

This event is being run externally but with our official endorsement. If you have any questions, please email Dr Anna Romanova at a.romanova@gre.ac.uk.
