Integrating AI into learning & teaching practice

In today's rapidly evolving technological landscape, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming industries and reshaping the way we live and work. It is essential that as Business educators we equip our students with the AI knowledge and skills they will require as future business leaders.

This workshop will provide an introduction to the different types of AI, including fundamental concepts and diverse applications, together with an understanding of future skills needs. It will include hands-on activity to demonstrate the opportunities of Generative AI tools, and explore current projects and student experiences, to develop understanding of the impact of AI tools on practice.

Designed for academic staff, and leaders in learning and teaching who are not IT experts, who want to understand how to equip students with the necessary skills, and to incorporate AI into their practice, the workshop will provide insights into the opportunities and challenges of AI in Business Education.

Learning outcomes

By the end of the workshop participants will:

  • The fundamental concepts and principles of artificial intelligence (AI)

  • The future skills landscape for business students
