The Fifth Directors of International Meeting will be chaired by Michael Rosier, Associate Dean (International Education and Accreditation), Hertfordshire Business School and Professor Gabriele Vosseberg, Deputy Director (Education and Internationalisation), Newcastle University Business School. The meeting will explore how virtual exchanges and virtual mobility programmes are challenging the traditional paradigms of student mobility.
Special guest speaker will be Dr Robert O’Dowd, Associate Professor for English as a Foreign Language and Applied Linguistics, University of León (Spain). Robert is a member of the EVOLVE (Evidence-Validated Online Learning through Virtual Exchange) project team. EVOLVE was conducted as an Erasmus+ funded project to mainstream Virtual Exchange (VE) as an innovative form of collaborative international learning across disciplines in Higher Education (HE) institutions in Europe and beyond.
This meeting is solely for Directors of International (or those with an equivalent position) at UK business schools. Led by Michael and Gabriele, both members of the Chartered ABS International Committee, this is the latest instalment in a series of online meetings that the Chartered ABS is running for senior team-members in business schools.
