Scottish business schools as engines of internationalisation

This workshop will explore the role of Scottish business schools as a vehicle that promotes internationalisation within Scottish universities.

Scottish Business Schools are responsible for a significant proportion of all international students in the country. This represents a valuable revenue stream for the HE sector as well as our business schools. This workshop will explore internationalisation strategies before, during and after study across Scotland’s Business Schools.

The workshop will focus on the following key areas:

  • International student recruitment
  • Creating a distinctly Scottish experience.
  • Building alumni relationships
  • Internationalisation at home: a focus on broadening academic curriculum to consider international students
