Fintech, Blockchain & Artificial Intelligence Training Trade Mission

18-20 November 2019

Introducing British professional training providers in Fintech, Blockchain and AI to Mauritius

The Chartered ABS is pleased to promote this opportunity for UK business schools to contribute their expertise and understanding to the UK's international trade missions. Please note that this mission is being run by the Department for International Trade and all questions should be directed to them through their contact details below.

The Mauritian Government has an ambition to make the island a regional financial hub and is driving major reform in the Financial Professional Services sector. Whilst key technologies such as blockchain and Artificial Intelligence (AI) are driving innovation they are also creating skills shortages. Industry leaders and Government are keen to solve this skills gap by establishing partnerships with UK training providers.

This mission will offer participants the opportunity to promote their expertise and/or products to key decision makers, meet with the Mauritian Government and agencies, and relevant private sector businesses. The mission will also include one to one meetings with potential partners and customers. We will also invite stakeholders from other African countries to meet with the participants to offer the opportunity to partner elsewhere in the continent and to maximise the benefit of the mission.
