  • Lecturer salary is £49,979 - £59,125 per annum (including London Allowance)

The candidate

The Department of Accounting and Financial Management (AFM) invites applications for the position of Lecturer or Associate Professor (Teaching Focus) with an expertise in Financial Accounting and Reporting. This represents an excellent opportunity to contribute to a portfolio of professionally accredited accounting and finance programmes and to play a pivotal role in the development of new academic initiatives.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and actively participate in departmental and school-level administration, including public engagement activities. Applicants should, as a minimum, hold a professional accountancy qualification recognised in the UK, have relevant work-based experience as a professional accountant and possess prior relevant teaching experience. Candidates with experience in programme leadership withini UK higher education and engagement with professional accoutning bodies will be given special consideration.
