External Examiner, Strategic Management Degree Apprenticeships
The Department of Strategic Management at Hertfordshire Business School, University of Hertfordshire is looking to appoint a new external examiner for two of their apprenticeship programmes. The appointment will start in February 2022. The external examiner will be required to review our Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship (BA Business & Management), which is also subject to periodic review in 2022. In addition, the external examiner will be required to review our MSc Business and Organisational Strategy on both self-funded and degree apprenticeship (mapped against the Senior Leader Masters Degree Apprenticeship) routes. This programme is due to finish in 2023. For programme externals, there are typically two modules boards minimum that would be attended, typically on Teams, although with some possibility of occasional travel to Hatfield. These are typically in October and July each year. The Programme Leaders and Head of Subject – Strategic Management will select from interested parties. Following selection, the person will need to be proposed and approved by the Business School and University’s Quality Committees. Please note, unfortunately we will not be able to accept any expressions of interest if you currently hold 2 or more EE’ships elsewhere, or if a colleague from your institution is connected with the programme in any way.
