University of Sussex Business School
The University of Sussex Business School provides leadership in the development and dissemination of sustainable business and management practice, informed by sound economic logic and a deep understanding of policy making. The School is comprised of three academic departments - Business and Management, Economics, and the Science Policy Research Unit - as well as the University's International Summer School.
The School is a member of AACSB International - the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, as well as a member of EFMD - European Foundation for Management Development. As of March 2017, we have successfully completed most steps of the of the EQUIS accreditation process, run by EFMD. The School submitted its Self Evaluation Report at the start of March 2017 and is planning for the Peer Review Visit to the school, in early May 2017.
Our Human Resources Management MSc recently gained advanced accreditation by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), and our MSc in Global Supply Chain and Logistics Management has achieved full assessment accreditation by the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) and Membership accreditation from the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT). Several of our undergraduate degrees have received exemptions from the Association of Certified and Chartered Accountants (ACCA), including our BSc in Accounting and Finance, which also received exemptions from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), and the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA). We have also recently received accreditation from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) for our Marketing and Management BSc and the International Marketing MSc.
