National Student Survey 2015: Table of results for business and administrative studies
The results of the National Student Survey 2015 show business schools and departments offering courses in business and administrative studies have maintained a high level of student satisfaction. The Chartered ABS provide here a table of the results to facilitate further discussion and analysis on student satisfaction specifically in the field of business and administrative studies.
The annual survey asked students from across the UK 21 questions to rate the performance of their institutions within the following topics: teaching on the course; assessment and feedback; academic support; organisation and management; learning and resources and personal development. Students were also asked to provide an overall score for the quality of their course. This year’s annual survey questioned more than 300,000 final-year students at 156 HE institutions, 190 FE colleges and five private institutions.
The Chartered ABS spreadsheet ranks the results of students studying business and management at 130 institutions, including FE colleges, according to the reply given to question 22. Forty seven percent of the 130 institutions surveyed obtain a score of over 87.5%, which is an excellent result. The topic that received the lowest score was assessment and feedback which saw 42% of the 130 institutions surveyed (55 out of 130) receive a score less than 62.5%.
