Nominations for Chartered ABS Council members 2017-20

Nominations are sought from Chartered ABS voting representatives who are interested in serving as members of the Council, and therefore trustees of the Chartered charity, for a period of three years, starting from 6 November 2017. There are currently two positions available for individuals from institutions with full membership, the directory for which can be found at http://charteredabs.org/membership/directory/.

About the Role
The Chartered ABS Council comprises of 12 elected members who are voting representatives of UK business schools, plus a number of co-opted members. The Council meets four times annually, usually in London. Members of the Council are expected to take an active role in the governance of the Chartered ABS and in one of its steering committees or working groups. Their role is to support the work of the organisation and oversee its effective management. Council discusses and agrees the strategy and major projects and helps steer the focus of the Annual Conference.

Election Details
From 17 October 2017 nomination statements will be circulated and an online ballot will be open until 31 October 2017.
