Nominations to join the CMBE Professional Standards Board
The Chartered ABS invites applications to join the inaugural Professional Standards Board of the Certified Management & Business Educator scheme.
The CMBE Professional Standards Board will be comprised of independent members from the professions and outside academia, as well as academic members from the business school community.
The CMBE scheme will break new ground in higher education by giving educators a framework for continuous professional development and a recognised professional designation. The scheme also provides business schools with a means to advance teaching quality and standards; support the development and promotion of teaching faculty; and demonstrate their commitment to teaching excellence.
The purpose of the CMBE Professional Standards Board is to provide oversight of the scheme and its standards. In particular the Board will monitor and quality assure subscriber criteria and admissions, review the scheme’s standards, monitor the auditing of subscribers, and uphold the code of conduct.
We would be delighted to receive applications from individuals who are passionate about business and management education, and/or with experience of professional development.
The deadline to apply is 30 April 2019.

The Chair of the Board must be an independent member; please state on your application if you may be interested in the role of Chair.
