IfATE consultation on changes to existing policies related to degree apprenticeshipsWed 11th Aug 2021
The Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE) has opened a consultation on its proposals for changes to existing policies that affect the development, approval and delivery of degree apprenticeships. These proposals include ensuring that the Institute’s policies and processes better recognise the role that degrees and graduate status currently play in the labour market, and providing a comprehensive development and approval framework for the creation and revision of degree apprenticeships.
The Chartered ABS is seeking input from members for a collective response to this consultation based on the consensus view. As the consultation document is quite long members are welcome to only reply to the elements of the consultation that you feel we need to concentrate on.
Please note that this consultation document must be reviewed before answering the various questions so that you have an understanding of the proposals. If you would like to view the questions before answering please see here the PDF version of our survey (our survey replicates the questions in the IfATE survey).
Members who are interested in providing their input to our consultation response should complete our survey here by 12pm on Tuesday 31 August. If you would prefer to provide your general comments on the proposals rather than answering the various technical questions, then there is an opportunity to do that within our survey.
Your help in responding to this consultation is much appreciated. If you have any queries please contact Ramin Bokaian (firstname.lastname@example.org)
