Role summary
The Chartered Association of Business Schools (Chartered ABS) is seeking a highly organised and delivery-focused SBC Membership Coordinator to join our Small Business Charter (SBC) team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with experience in operational coordination or programme activities who enjoys managing multiple workstreams within a professional, purpose-led environment. You will play a vital role in supporting the assessment and accreditation lifecycle, ensuring a high-quality experience for our member business schools and our pool of expert assessors.
Working under the direction of the Head of SBC Accreditation and Membership, you will maintain accurate records, support the transition to Salesforce, and contribute to the growth of both the SBC and the CMBE (Chartered Management Consultant Educator) programme.
Key responsibilities:
We are looking for someone who will:
Coordinate accreditation cycles: Manage assigned stages of accreditations, including scheduling panels, tracking documentation, and ensuring milestone deadlines are met.
Administer the assessor pool: Manage day-to-day interactions with assessors, including contracting, training coordination, and processing payment claims.
Support membership & renewals: Act as a responsive point of contact for business schools, managing onboarding for new members and coordinating the membership renewal process.
Manage systems and data: Support the migration of data to Salesforce and maintain high standards of data integrity across CRM and SharePoint platforms.
Deliver operational reporting: Produce regular reports on the accreditation pipeline and membership activity to support strategic planning.
Provide CMBE support: Assist with the administration of the CMBE programme, including processing applications and supporting the Professional Standards Board.
Identify process improvements: Suggest and implement practical updates to templates, workflows, and member communications.

We are looking for someone with:
Previous experience coordinating multi-step operational processes, ideally within a membership or professional body environment.
Confidence using CRM systems (Salesforce experience is desirable) for record management and reporting.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to maintain professional relationships with external stakeholders.
Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines across different workstreams.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work effectively across teams (Finance, Events, and Marketing).
Experience in financial administration, such as purchase orders or invoicing coordination (desirable).
