Senior appointments from across the sector

Dr Damian Ward Hertfordshire

There have been a number of senior appointments within business schools over the last few months.

Dr Damian Ward (pictured) has been appointed Dean of Hertfordshire Business School. Dr Ward began his tenure at the beginning of September taking over from Jerry Forrester who has taken on a different role within the business school.

A number of other senior appointments have also been made during the last few months.

In July, Professor Amanda Broderick was appointed CEO and Director of Newcastle University London.

In August, Professor Christos Pitelis joined Brunel as Head of the Business School.

Professor Georgina Andrews has been appointed Head of Business and Management and Professor of Business Education at Bath Spa University.

Professor Stewart Robinson has become the Acting Dean of School of Business and Economics at Loughborough University following the move of Professor Angus Laing to Lancaster University Management School.

Professor Sarah Ashwin was appointed Head of Department at the Department of Management at the London School of Economics.
