We are a vibrant, international and interdisciplinary community of over 250 academics and professional services staff. Our research both complements and challenges accepted thinking, norms and perceptions in business, management, economics, finance and accounting.

As one of the original signatories to the UN Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME), we are passionate about inspiring and developing students and equipping them with the confidence, skills and knowledge they will need to make a distinct and positive contribution in the world.

The school is a global academy for leaders, innovators and change makers. Building on over 90 years of delivering business education, we are internationally renowned for our courses in accounting and finance, business and management, economics, entrepreneurship and marketing. We conduct pioneering work in partnership with leaders, managers, SMEs and large organisations to develop the knowledge and skills our partners need and to promote responsible business practice. We are ranked 27th in the UK for research power.
