Creativity in teaching – how to create activities and games

This workshop led by Roger Saunders, will explore various resources and methods for developing games and activities to make more learning more active, engaging and fun. From simple card games to Lego SeriousPlay, participants will see real examples, and understand how each game or activity was developed, created and applied. Particular focus will be given to the effects of reflection and iteration and the idea of learning by doing/learning by failing. The mechanics of various activities will be explained, to allow participants to immediately apply them to their own subject area with the minimum of effort or to create more complex and involved activities, depending on their requirements.

This event is a CMBE Community Meeting and is open to CMBE Subscribers only.
