Why teamwork needs a meta-rubric

Most academics have heard versions of this complaint after a group project. We invest significant effort helping students understand what good academic work looks like through rubrics, exemplars and feedback. Yet when it comes to teamwork, we often assume students will simply work it out for themselves. However, that assumption is becoming increasingly difficult to justify.

The LTSE 2027 Provocations

The LTSE 2027 provocations invite you to explore the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of business and management education.

Each combines a broad theme with supporting questions to inspire ideas and help you identify where your work could contribute. These questions are starting points, not a checklist. You are welcome to explore a different question, challenge or opportunity, provided it connects to the broader theme.

Whether you're sharing established practice, emerging ideas or research, we encourage you to bring your experiences and perspectives to LTSE 2027.

Explore the seven provocations below and consider which best connects with your contribution.

Formats

LTSE 2027 offers five submission formats, providing different ways to share your work, exchange ideas and engage with colleagues. Choose the format that best reflects what you want to share and how you'd like participants to engage with it.

Whether you have research findings to present, practical experiences to share, an emerging idea to explore or a challenge you'd like to tackle with others, there's a format to suit your contribution.

Choose the format that best reflects what you want to share and how you'd like participants to engage with it.
