Strengthening capability in executive and professional education provision and business engagement
Senior business school leaders are increasingly expected to make strategic decisions about how to engage with non-academic partners – public, private and third sector, and policy makers – and to increase their commercial income through the development of new and enhanced offerings within executive education and professional development
In the context of the rapidly evolving skills landscape, shaped by the Industrial Strategy, the Growth & Skills Levy, and changing employer needs, this workshop is designed to equip senior business school leaders such as Deans, Directors, and Heads of School, with the strategic insight, practical tools, and peer learning needed to strengthen their school’s business engagement capability.
Participants will explore how to develop and scale executive education and professional skills provision with agility and in ways that support both commercial growth and external engagement ambitions.
Learning objectives
By the end of this workshop, participants will have:
Developed a clearer understanding of the evolving policy landscape around lifelong learning, apprenticeships, part-time and executive education through engaging with key government and policy stakeholders, influencers and business stakeholders
