International student recruitment
This Deans' Meetings will bring together Deans of Chartered ABS member business schools for candid discussion on the current state of the international student recruitment market and how business schools are responding strategically.
The results of our survey on the January in-take of international students will be presented at this meeting. We will provide insights on this January's enrolments at UG and PG levels; the impact of the ban on dependents; and how business schools are adapting their portfolio of programmes. Charley Robinson, Head of International Mobility at University UK International, will also share an update on UUK's advocacy activities in relation to creating an enabling environment for international student recruitment.
The meeting will also hear what the Chartered ABS is doing as part of our advocacy work and take input from members on our positions.
All discussions take place under the Chatham House Rule and attendance is restricted to the Deans of Chartered ABS member institutions.
The meeting will be chaired by Professor Stewart Robinson, Chair of the Chartered ABS.
