Developing the leadership capabilities of senior Professional Services staff in UK business schools
The Professional Services Leadership Programme (PSLP) supports the development of Professional Services managers, who have recently transitioned or are looking to transition to a senior role with a strategic leadership focus.
Facilitated by experienced senior Professional Services managers, with input from a range of expert guest speakers, PSLP is a new multi-modular programme specifically designed to help UK business schools’ strengthen their operational efficiency.
Participants will build the skills and knowledge needed to develop and implement strategies that effectively support business schools’ and universities’ strategic objectives, and will gain practical insights into effective budget and resource management, team leadership, and digital tools usage.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the programme, participants will have:
Built a comprehensive understanding of the operating environment of business schools and gained perspective on the strategic role of Professional Services
Learned how to devise and implement strategies that support the school’s and university’s objectives
Gained practical insights into budget management and resource allocation in a financially constrained environment
Explored strategies for leading high-performing teams through change and working with senior leadership teams
Identified the ways in which they can leverage digital tools to benefit students and staff
