Liverpool Hope Business School is an accredited member of AACSB International. It offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees and we have strong links with a number of leading local and national companies such as Everton Football Club, Santander and Lloyds Bank.

We also work closely with a number of accredited bodies, including the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants).

Choose to study with us and you will have a number of opportunities to meet, network and develop professional relationships with potential future employers.

Each year, the Department hosts the Insight to Business Awards, which rewards students with internships, shadowing opportunities and placements with local businesses.

You will also have the opportunity to take part in Young Enterprise, an initiative that gives you the chance to practice entrepreneurship and establish your own, fully-functioning business.

Liverpool Hope Business School is an accredited member of AACSB International - the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. For over a century, AACSB Accreditation has been synonymous with the highest standards in business education. Accredited schools have successfully undergone a rigorous review process conducted by their peers in the business education community, ensuring that they have the resources, credentials, and commitment needed to provide students with a first-rate, future-focused business education.

Our vision is to be a business school of choice which offers high quality education at every level of university study and connects the worlds of business through the common threads of social responsibility, global mindedness, and a sustainable and ethical focus.

Our mission is to form enterprising and globally responsible business professionals committed to enhancing both business and the society we serve. We aim to achieve this by:

  • Nurturing a passion for learning and enquiry within an environment which is conducive to advancing personal development for students and faculty

  • Delivering innovative, inspiring, practice-based and research-informed teaching; offering first-rate student support and guidance towards relevant and challenging career pathways

  • Developing business graduates who are globally aware, socially responsible and ethically minded, and;

  • Promoting an academic culture which supports research on connecting business, global and ethical.

Liverpool Hope Business School is dedicated to research that both informs teaching and provides positive impact outside the university. Business school staff are keen to create relationships with local organisations to achieve this goal.

LHBS has staff with PhDs, professional backgrounds, and some have run their own businesses. All of this means LHBS is highly qualified at an academic, professional and experiential level to engage in research which connects with the business sector.

Research in the business school is broadly organised into a number of research groups, all sitting within the SEARCH Centre (Social and Economic Action Research Centre at Hope) in recognition of the general aim to have impact and affect positive change in society.
