The School of Management and Economics (SME) of the University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH) – the first Public English language university in Kurdistan and Iraq. The establishment of the UKH was inspired by the vision and initiative of His Excellency President Nechirvan Barzani, the President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The SME operates in alignment with the UKH mission of educating, inspiring, and preparing future leaders while contributing to regional and global progress through research and innovation.

Currently, the SME offers the following programmes:

• Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) – the first in Iraq

• PhD in Business and Management, Economics and Finance, and Finance and Banking

• Executive MBA

• MSc in Accounting and Finance, and Business and Management

• BSc in Accounting and Finance, Economics and Finance, and Finance and Banking

• BSc in Business and Management – General, HR Management, and Marketing pathways
