MAC report on the Graduate Route: our response

The Migration Advisory Committee today published its report on the Graduate Route following the Home Secretary's request that it be reviewed. Flora Hamilton, Chief Executive of the Chartered ABS responds:
“We welcome the advice the Migration Advisory Committee has issued this morning to not further restrict student immigration into the UK. We strongly urge the Government to now listen and confirm the continuation of the Graduate Route for international students. The sector now needs a critical period of stability to address the damage already done to the UK’s international reputation and higher education funding through the significant visa changes introduced in 2023.”
