The Government’s current student visa policy is having detrimental effects on universities and the economy. This report focuses on recruitment trends of international students to the most popular course at university – business studies. International students studying business contribute £2.4 billion to universities and the UK economy but the latest figures, reveal they are in decline. As well as some hard-hitting messages for policy makers, the report also provides insights into the changing international student recruitment market, including trends in how business schools recruit and where they recruit from.
