Call for applications for Chair of Academic Journal Guide Management Committee

The Chartered ABS is seeking to appoint a new Chair of the Academic Journal Guide (AJG) Management Committee. The Management Committee provides oversight to the production of each new edition of the AJG and guidance on its strategic development.
The current Chair, Professor Angus Laing from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, is stepping down from the AJG Management Committee following a sterling period of service which has seen the Guide greatly expand the number of journals listed and transition to a web-based format with a wider range of metrics for users to interact with. The Chartered ABS will give a full tribute to Angus as he passes the mantle to the new Chair later this year.
We are looking for an experienced academic researcher from within the constituent fields of Business & Management who also has experience of academic leadership roles. The role description can be viewed here.
