Chester Business School recognised as THE Business School of the Year 2024

5th December 2024

Chartered ABS member Chester Business School, University of Chester was announced as the winner of the Times Higher Education (THE) 2024 Business School of the Year at the awards ceremony at the ICC in Birmingham on Thursday, November 28.

Their submission entitled "A Catalyst for Progress" earned them the top award for their commitment "to bolstering the north-west of England by helping to support a high-growth, low-carbon economy and nurturing future talent for the NHS."

Chester Business School (CBS) participated in three major industrial decarbonisation projects seeking to reshape Cheshire’s manufacturing economy, which produces more than a quarter of the north-west’s total carbon output and supports 73,000 jobs. This culminated in the launch of a study on the skills needed for the industrial decarbonisation supply chain, which has influenced national government thinking in this space.

Our congratulations to the team at Chester Business School and to all of the shortlisted schools and staff for their hard work and dedication to impact; all excellent examples of the high quality of the UK's business schools.
