Highlights from Knowledge Exchange Roundtable

14th March 2024

Last year, researchers from Newcastle Business School and Manchester Metropolitan Business School were successful in securing funding from CABS to understand better the role of Knowledge Exchange within the Business School sector. Following an extensive literature review and interviews with more than 30 academic and professional support staff, the team held their first dedicated Round Table Event at Northumbria University in February.

The event allowed the team to share their initial findings amongst other business school academics. It was well attended and provided the opportunity for the team to receive rich feedback in terms of how Knowledge Exchange is perceived, governed and measured.

This was the first of two dedicated Round Table Events, with the second targeting Higher Education policy makers and being held in the House of Commons. Feedback from both events will help the team with the second phase of their research and the construction of an online survey instrument.
