
Chartered ABS launches International Students Taskforce
The Chartered ABS has launched its International Students Taskforce, which will explore the challenges UK business schools face in attracting international students and highlighting their contribution to the economy and society.
Call for nominations: Chartered ABS Research Committee

The Chartered Association of Business Schools is seeking new members for our Research Committee. Applications are open to business school deans, associate deans, and senior staff in research roles from Chartered ABS member business schools.
Role of the Research Committee
The Research Committee mainly comprises Deans and Directors of Research from our member business schools. The role of the Research Committee is to provide guidance and assist the Chartered ABS with policy formation in the broad area of research in the context of business and management education.
Areas of Focus
Develop common policy positions and consultation responses on research issues on behalf of Chartered ABS member schools.
Engage in discussions with policymarkers, funding councils, and other bodies to enhance the research strength and capacity of Chartered ABS members.
Promote good practice to support Chartered ABS members in achieving their research goals.
Diversity and Inclusion
The Chartered ABS is committed to diversity and inclusion. Applications from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic individuals are particularly encouraged. The diversity of HEI mission groups represented on the Chartered ABS committees will be considered when reviewing applications.

To join our Research Committee, please email the following documents to Michael Baptist ([email protected]) by 5pm on Monday 17 February 2025. Your application must have the support of your Dean/Head of School prior to submission:
Curriculum Vitae
Letter of Application: Outline the skills and experience you can bring to the committee (maximum two sides of A4).
Letter of Recommendation: A short letter from your Dean/Head of School.
Both letters should be addressed to Michael Baptist. When submitting your application, please confirm that you are happy for your details and documents to be shared with the Chair and Vice-Chair of the committee.
