Chartered ABS launches International Students Taskforce
The Chartered ABS has launched its International Students Taskforce, which will explore the challenges UK business schools face in attracting international students and highlighting their contribution to the economy and society.
Exploring researcher engagement beyond academia

DBAA Project Survey
The Developing Business-Aware Academics (DBAA) project is running a survey to understand how researchers engage beyond academia. The project is funded by Research England, and delivered through the University of Exeter Business School working in collaboration with the Chartered Association of Business Schools and a network of academic, business, policy and non-profit partners.
Whether you regularly collaborate with partners beyond academia, are just starting out, or if you have never considered working with businesses, non-profits and policy organisations, we want to hear from you.
Complete the 10-15 minutes survey before the closing date on 23 May to be sure to have your say.
By sharing your insights, you will inform the design of researcher training and networking programmes in universities.
The Developing Business-Aware Academics (DBAA) project was launched in response to calls by universities, industry and the Government for greater research collaboration with non-academic organisations to realise the full potential of the UK’s research and innovation talent.
DBAA Project Focus Groups
In addition, the DBAA project is offering funding to run focus groups exploring the barriers, motivators, and enablers to engaging beyond academia for doctoral and early-career researchers. This will form part of the DBAA evidence base, as well as providing insights to help shape provision at your institution.
Applications close on 30 May and are open to academics, researcher developers and professional services teams supporting doctoral and early-career researchers at any HE institution in England eligible to receive Research England funding.
To hear more about this opportunity, sign up to DBAA’s webinar on 16 May at 11am:
